Wemeco is specialized in the serial production of custom products. With a modern and extensive range of machinery, we excel in versatile metalworking in steel, stainless steel and aluminum along with assembly work for both small and medium-large production-batches.
Wemeco’s strength lies in the fact that we can produce both semi-finished and finished products in-house (including surface treatment, assembly, packaging, logistics, etc.).

The ultimate goal
Quick Response Manufacturing is driven by one goal: reducing lead times. It focuses on eliminating waiting time, reducing batch sizes and streamlining processes. This results in faster delivery and increased flexibility, especially in high-mix and low-volume production environments.
Dedicated QRM Cells
Products from our partners are assigned their own Q-Cell or grouped within an existing FTMS (Focused Target Market Segment). In both cases, a dedicated and engaged multidisciplinary team works with full focus on the specific product family. This minimizes handovers, increases stability and accelerates every step of the process. The result is a flexible environment that responds directly to changes and structurally reduces the total lead time.
The production flow
We identify critical resources, variability and bottlenecks, then create capacity room to stabilise the system. By reducing batch sizes and minimising queues, we achieve a smoother, more predictable flow. This gives you greater flexibility for changes and ensures reliable lead times, even when your demand fluctuates.

The modern facility offers a wide range of in-house capabilities, including laser cutting (sheet and tube), (robot)welding, bending, machining, surface treatments and assembly. This includes a strong focus on safety and skill improvement. We ensure that our team works in a safe environment and that every employee has the knowledge, capabilities and mindset needed to perform their work responsibly and confidently.
Wemeco Academy
Since 2004, Wemeco has proudly operated its own training institute: the Wemeco Academy. Here, we train our own professionals, with a practical program tailored specifically to the needs of our company. Currently, 24 students are following an intensive, hands-on education that prepares them for a future career at Wemeco.
Through the Wemeco Academy, we are making a focused investment in the growth of our people and the future of our company.
Involvement
Wemeco places great value on employee involvement. To strengthen this, we set up improvement teams that focus on optimizing key business processes using the Kaizen method.
